View detailsWhat Is Bali Belly?
Bali Belly is the local name for traveller’s diarrhoea, a stomach upset that often hits visitors in their first days in Bali. It is usually caused by food or water contaminated with bacteria such as E. coli, viruses such as norovirus, or less often parasites such as Giardia.
Typical symptoms are sudden diarrhoea, stomach cramps, nausea and vomiting, sometimes with fever, chills and loss of appetite. Bacterial cases usually last 3 to 7 days and viral cases 2 to 3 days without treatment. Parasites can last much longer.
The biggest risk is dehydration, especially when you can’t keep fluids down. A home IV drip replaces fluids directly into your bloodstream, with medicines to settle vomiting and diarrhoea, so you don’t have to travel to a clinic while you’re unwell.

How quickly can a nurse come to my villa or hotel?
Message us on WhatsApp with your location and symptoms and we’ll confirm a time slot. Arrival time depends on your area and traffic. Our team is based in Seminyak, so nearby areas are usually quickest to reach.

Every day, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM (WITA, GMT+8). Outside these hours, or in an emergency, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.

Is a home IV drip safe and right for me?
An IV drip is a medical procedure, so every visit starts with a health check: symptoms, allergies, medication, pregnancy, heart or kidney conditions, and your blood pressure, pulse and temperature. Can you treat several people in the same villa?
Yes. Tell us how many people need treatment when you book on WhatsApp so we can plan the visit and bring enough supplies.
How can I pay?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Wise (TransferWise), Xendit and Indonesian bank transfer.
Is Bali Belly contagious?
