When to get emergency help
A hangover drip is for a normal hangover, not alcohol poisoning. Call 112 or go to the nearest hospital straight away if someone is confused, can’t be woken, has slow or irregular breathing, has a seizure, or keeps vomiting while drowsy. Blurred or changed vision, a severe headache or trouble breathing after drinking spirits or cocktails can be signs of methanol poisoning and need urgent hospital care.
